MLP: FiM OC Race - Daharashk
(Also called Sand-Snappers, Dune-Sharks, or Blind-Maws)
Creatures hailing from Saddle Arabia and the many surrounding deserts. Their name is more of a curse than a title, translated to mean "Wolves of the Desert Wind." Though they look much like the kind and peace-loving citizens of Equestria, these predators are hardly either. They are extremely dangerous, and make certain portions of the high deserts and mountainous areas impossible to traverse except by air. Thankfully, no Daharashk has been seen bearing wings like the pegasi of their equine cousins, and thus have not taken to the skies.

The SpreadThere was a lingering dread in the air. The security group was unusually quiet, the medical teams all nervous enough to fill the air with a tense anxiety. I had to steel myself, after reading the reports about what I was about to encounter I couldn't even begin to build an expectation. I had served External Affairs and Intelligence for five years now, I had seen things most people couldn't even imagine... and for the first time in a countless numbers of interrogations I was honestly unsure of myself. The Spread by =BaryonSweep
The force-barrier containing the alien organism was aglow with energy, it was at full power. Not even something as small as an electron co
On Fallen Wings - The LedgeThe tapping of bare feet echoed through the stairwell. The chill of cold concrete seemingly lost to the young woman as she ascended flight after flight. As if in a daze she finally reached the second to last landing as she looked up towards the last stretch. It felt like she’d been climbing for hours, but with a hollow expression the girl just kept going. On Fallen Wings - The Ledge by =BaryonSweep
Placing her hand on the bar, she pushed it and moved with a sluggish sort of deliberation out onto the roof. Tears were streaming down her face, though she didn’t know why. She knew… but she didn’t. Why did he have to leave? Why did he go? Was there only qu
Like ClockworkEven clockwork wasn't this precise. The sun just peaked over the farthest horizon when the doors lined along the inner wall opened one at a time. The members of Romeo team moved about the duties of the morning. The latrine was used in shifts, soldiers not prepping were eating. The night watch was just coming off their duties and saw the rest of the team preparing for the day.Like Clockwork by =BaryonSweep
Sergeant Lark waited for the fire teams to ready themselves. They would all gather at the corner board for the day’s duties and directives, and after they had assembled he would post a sheet of paper with individual assignments. Watching the men gather with
Children of Sol - PrologueThe stars, as beautiful and mesmerizing as they were deadly. The universal bombs that both warmed worlds and ended entire systems. As old as time, giving off one of the many universal constants. Light, heat, and death. It seemed the very things that empowered also destroyed, the equal balance that made up the flow of life. This was a belief bordering religion by the watchful eyes that stood before the glory and searing majesty of the red giant.Children of Sol - Prologue by =BaryonSweep
Floating far from the forceful pull of the elder star's gravity well sat the Ambient Grace, and its ranks swelled with hundreds of silvery smooth vessels. Flares burst out from the sun's surface
Finding Fionna Chapter 6Finding Fionna Chapter 6 by *minako25
The day had come and went for the sea fairing adventurers without incident, unless you include Finn yakking over the rail. So in light of sunburn, harpies and vomit the vampire gladly welcomed the peaceful night. It also meant he wouldn't need to cower in the shadow of the cabin any longer. With night blanketing the ocean and ship, the rest of the group had turned in for the night. So Marshall Lee had his turn at the helm, following an old compass and map northeast to the lost island. Navigating the candy ship, the vampire could only describe it as one thing: boring.
Slumping over the wheel, Marshall Lee thought about what he coul
